Sunshine Glass and Mirror repairs and replaces all types of commercial or residential glass. When a double glazed glass unit in any window or door becomes fogged or full of condensation on the interior between the glass panes, then the unit’s seal has failed. This means that the window no longer provides the same level of insulation value as it once did. If the main structure of the window itself is not damaged or in need of replacement then it is possible to change just the glass unit itself. In many circumstances the quality or ‘R’ value of the replacement glass unit can be upgraded at this time. Low E Glass works by reflecting thermal (heat) energy. Simply put, Low E Glass helps to keep your warm air inside during the winter and to keep warm air outside during the summer. The higher efficiency of Low E Glass helps to keep your heating and cooling bills lower and serves to make your home more comfortable. Adding Argon or Krypton gas between the glass panes also improves your windows' insulating properties.
